Mr. March
Sea World 3/10/09
Tuesday we went to Sea World with our friends Veronica and Charlie. We met them in the '08 play group. Charlie is about 6 weeks younger than Luke (and a couple inches taller!)
The kiddos had a great time being independent and walking/running all over.
They played in the tide pool - touching starfish and a sea cucumber.
They joined a sea turtle for his lunch.
Luke "tickled" the fish again.
The dolphins were so friendly. They swam right up to where we were standing.
We lucked out and walked by the sea lions at feeding time. It was very exciting to feed the sea lions snacks (raw, frozen fish anyone?).

Luke is FAMOUS!
Sea World 2
One funny thing Luke started doing was "tickling" the fish when they swam over to the window. This video is dark but if you listen carefully, you an hear him saying "tickle tickle" to the fish as they swim by. Such a character! P.S. We were literally the only group in this exhibit for about 10 minutes. Our own private Sea World!
Sea World
On Wednesday, we took Luke to Sea World for the first time. He LOVED it! Luckily the park was almost empty, so he was able to walk from exhibit to exhibit (strollers are great for storing everything BUT the child) and get up front and personal with the creatures.

Enjoy the photos!

Our first stop was the otter exhibit. An otter was floating right next to the glass - very cool.
After that we went over to the dolphins. They were so close! Luke was enjoying the dolphins so much that we decided to go to the Dolphin Show. When we left the exhibit, he was so sad. He kept running back. I think he thought we were going home!
The Dolphin Show was fun, but it was a little too long to ask Luke to sit still. He was ready to move on by the time it was over.
